Community & Family Services

The Salvation Army operates Community and Family Services to help meet the immediate and short-term needs of individuals and families in Yarmouth.

In many ways the public face of the Salvation Army in Yarmouth, Community and Family Services offer such services as Christmas hampers, monthly community luncheons and immediate needs services.

Have A Need?

The community and Family Services office is open to request assistance Tuesdays from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM at the Yarmouth Community Church.

Note that all those requesting assistance must provide health cards for each member of their household.  Applicants for Good Neighbour Energy Fund (winter warmth help) must also provide an income document (Pay stub, EI statement, Social Assistance Stub or bank statement showing last 6 weeks of activity) and their most recent heating bill or receipt.
